I have a small steam room in my house and it helps drain my nose and ears when i have a cold. Also, it helps when my throat is sore. However, should i worry about how much i sweat (they say you have to keep hydrated), even if i drink a lot of water when i am in there?

My doctor told me that my ALP levels are high, mine being 160. She is sending me to rheumatologist and she also wants me to get a bone scan. Before this I have never even heard of ALP levels. Does anyone know if 160 is considered really elevated and exactly what is ALP?

I am a reformed alcoholic now of nine years of sobriety. Can somoeone of great understanding tell me why it is alot of foods these days have wine sauce in the ingredients? i.e. a frozen dinner I just ate had that in the ingredients as well as some other foods I have had in the past. Now, I still eat these foods and realize this in no way should question my years of sobriety now...but I just want to make sure that it is alright for a reformed alcoholic to eat foods with this in the ingredients?

Like I say, I am not going to be one to live in fear and realize that even if at times if the alcohol isn't cooked out and evaported this still shouldn't question my years of sobriety...and If i really were eating it for that intent I would go to the neares liquor store and pick up a case of beer...I just wanted to get other feelers out to what others may think? I would also probably go as far as eating it if I were in a restaurant if it were added without knowing..but who knows.

I've been sick for about 4 days now and first I just started coughing up dark colored mucus but it seems like what ever I have is developing into something worse. My nose started to bleed uncontrollably but then finally stopped and this has happened about 3 times. My eyes are watering and I have uncontrolable sneezing although I can feel when I'm about to sneeze. I don't feel sick to my stomach nor has my appitite decreased but I have no energy, my muscles feel very tense and my body is weak. My nose bleeds alot and my right nostril is hard to breathe out of. I have sudden headaches and find myself sleeping alot lately. I dont know what I have but I need to see a doctor and I was wondering if I could get any help or answers from anyone else. Please help me... My body and even spirit feels weakened.

It'll start off as a really bad stomach cramp, then when I use the restroom, these things happen: I get dizzy like I'm about to pass out, I begin to sweat uncontrollably, I start to yawn uncontrollably, and when everthing is over and done with, I feel like I've run a marathon. I'm completely exhausted. Any answers will be appreciated. This happens 3 or 4 times a year for the last 10 years of so. Thanks.

From time to time I suffer from severe headaches that are triggered by my eyes. Sometimes it is the computer screen, sometimes watching too much tv, and sometimes even the lighting in the rooms - if I am in that room for a long period of time.
The strangest thing though is sometimes if things are real quiet, I can hear my eyes moving from left to right..or right to left. Not like hear them out load or anything, but my brain picks up on the movement somehow. It sounds like a "swish" sound.
Maybe like a small switch being swung around real fast through the air.
Have you ever heard of this?
