Any form of travel sickness tablets help a bit , but the DR can also give something stronger , i suffer to , and find that it is worse if i have anything with Quinine in it ie , tonic water ofr Bitter Lemon , it may be worth getting tested for a similar allergy . i have just spent over a week in hospital being treated for mine , most terrible condition and i sympathise a lot .

well, u cannot cure vertigo if it was not diagnosed by a proper doctor. maybe you just need lots of rest and sleep to make up for the stress and pressure that you just experienced. i don't think vertigo has a cure. if you're uncomfortable, take SERC.

It depends on what's causing the vertigo. Your mum needs to see a doctor: She could have something as easy to treat as mild dehydration. Or she could have diabetes or heart or blood-pressure problems.
Good luck!

Alaineamor,
I would consult an eye doctor about this...if you haven't already. If there is an answer for it medically he would have it.
Every body is different and doing home remedies might aggravate the problem. See what the cause and remedies are. Learn about it first and then proceed.

I get this too - I hope there is a cure. But has your Mum found out what is causing them - inner ear infection, high blood pressure maybe if they can fix the root cause it will go away.

Well there may be DIFFERENT cases of vertigo, I do not know. It seems like it could be GENETIC(naturally triggered) or it could be CHEMICALLY triggered by any number of inputs...

Have her lay down so the blood returns to her head. Take her to the doctor. You can get information at www.webmd.com.
