Rare blood disease and multi organ involvement secondary, neuro problems. Post splenectomy low IgM syndrome progressed damage. No doctor will report my case to the public health as CDC advised if no doctor will treat me. No one will. Att's say my case is landmark great, after I die. Hospital ER's refuse admittance even when labs show I should be admitted. Am honest, nice person and doctors often act awful to me. None have taken a complete history and needed, basic tests denied. My illness is child onset, yet some doctors suspect me as causing illness. Doctors deny inpatient hospital eval and some want me in mental unit with no medical workup offered if in mental unit. The damage from untreated sepsis caused diagnosis of drugs that no test confirms cause I didn't take such drugs. The pseudo drug symptoms caused several wrongful psych holds with proof of no drugs and still denied tests for the neuro damage. I'm at high risk to die. Pre uterine cancer is untreated. Where's help?

My friend and I have a bet... does moderate consumption of alcohol affect your immune system. Basically, can anyone tell me if drinking several glasses of hard liquor, while having a cold, will have anytype of effect on your immune system... will it worsen your symptoms?

Ever since i quit smoking i've noticed a lot of things that people tell me could be symptoms of diabetes. I know that quitting smoking will make you feel crappy for a while but it's been 2 months now and i'm noticing it still.
Ever since i was a preteen i've felt like i had no energy and get easily exhausted.
I've also had this problem with ALWAYS being thirsty... i'm always drinking water or juice or pop or anything liquid really.
I've also always had a problem with getting hungry frequently... i could eat a whole meal and then half an hour to an hour later... i'm hungry again.
Not to mention that my hands and feet are almost always cold (since i was young).
I also seem to have a crappy digestive system because my stomach almost always feels "not right" as well as my bowels.
I know there could be more than one answer for these things, but I want to do the test anyway and i'm worried that my doctor wont take me seriously because i'm sort of self-diagnosing...what should i do?

i recently asked about how a gallstone attack feels etc.
People suggested i go to the dr- the main reason i havent went yet is i have no medical ins. There is clinic where i do go sometimes and pay for the office vist, but sometimes i dont see a dr but they have a PAC. I know this is a silly question but would he know it may be a gallbladder problem when i tell my symptoms? I mean isnt this something pretty basic that he should know? I am only asking becasue i was having a problem with severe pain in my legs a few yrs back and i went to him numerous times and he didnt know what was wrong and kept saying this or that but i was not getting any better-and he finally said he didnt know what was wrong with me-so i had been paying for visits for nothing as i see it- what do you think? thank you

I notice that doctors tend to push dialysis for a patient with high creatinine; and I suspect that a lot of patients get on dialysis too early and thus unnecessarily.

What is the observation of people in this regard? My own opinion based on contacts with people who have successfully avoided dialysis is to see if you can bring down your creatinine level to the range normal with yourself considering your age and sex and other peculiar conditions.

Before kidneys finally stop working altogether and you will enter the phase where death watch is irreversible, modern medicine can always get you to keep you alive, yes with dialysis.

But not with the heart: when it stops it might not get pumping again even with all the wonders of modern medicine. The heart is the organ to watch out for by early instead of too late medical intervention.

Try everything you can to stave off dialysis, restore the normal function of the kidneys by all possible means first.

What do you guys say?

I've had this really bad cough for like 2-3 weeks and about a week ago my right kidney area started hurting with a dull pain. Last night was really bad I woke up at 10:50 and started coughing like crazy for 10 minutes and couldn't stop.

Is there a reason for this?

I'm afraid that my doctor isn't taking me seriously and I'm starting to get scared. I'm tired all the time and I take 325 mg of iron 3 times a day. My muscels hurt and I'm gaining weight rapidly despite having gastric bypass surgery 4 years ago. I've been checked for Thryoid, diabetes, and Lupus (although after being told my test was high for Lupus and being refered to a rheumatologist, she didn't even examine me). I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on what I should get checked again this time by a new doctor.

I feel really tired all the time,I can't concentrate in school,I get really bad headaches,I get mad easily, and start crying for no reason, and I feel like my mind is totally out of it.My parents keep saying oh we had all these tests done, there's nothing wrong with you!But I know there is!I can't even get up in the morning to go to school, and I'm not the type of person to not go to school, even though I don't like it.They keep saying if I keep "acting up" I am going to have to see my counselor at school! I don't need to freakin see a counselor! They don't even try to help me! I don't know what to do if I do have it,because they don't do anything! Please help me!I hate feeling like this!

I'm 16 and I was checked for the thyroid count or whatever a couple months ago and it was fine so why is it that I am SO cold all of the time? I am always freezing cold but once every so often I'll get this hot flash type thing. Ha, I know it sounds weird but I just get this sudden burning hot feeling and I'll have to lie down with an ice pack to cool down. I'm currently not on any medication and since I had my thyriod stuff checked a few months ago, I have NO idea what is going on. Got any ideas that I could check into?

i have been to so many doc uptil now but i think they all goes into wrong direction of giivng prozac and paxil , which is very long story i took them for six months , they helped me in the begening i think but then things startup to get worse , first the attack was on my sex life which was completely destroyed , erectyle dec , whatever its called , it took me a very hard time to get rid of these meds from my blood stream , and now i am out of it , but i am telling u , it was really really hard time . then i went to a doc , he by my force gave me vit B complex injections , which helps me in a way that the continues head stiff ness or nambness i felt at head was get 50% less , then i even told to more speciallist of nerology , but they still think i am the patient of psycological problem but then i thought something else i put my self on phsiotraphy doc and i think i should continue it , i think i feel better after coming out of a phsiothrapist session , they want to work on my neck/back
