i pirced my lip last night and i have this bad pain in my lip and its all red, & swollen i cleanded it really good after i did it. is it infected or jus healing?

um ok
its not been done long enough to be "infected"
its prob like that coz you used some thing thats not as sharp as it should have been
eg a safety pin
also DONT just take it out if it really gets infected coz that way your just sealing in the infection
as long as you keep it open you can keep it clean
but yea if you get worried or it gets worce then go see some one

Since you just did this last night, it's probably just starting to heal. Anytime you break the skin, it goes through redness and swelling before healing.
The important thing is to keep it clean, a good stainless steel or hypo-allergenic metal in the wound and watch for increased redness, pus, swelling or fever. If you develop any of those, remove the piercing and seek medical attention.

Could be either. Go back to where you got it pierced to get it checked out.

based on the redness and swelling, i will say it is infected. you should take antibiotics or consult a doctor

its probably infected. go to a piercing place and have them check it.

I wouldn't take the change on guessing. go get it checked out. you can even go to the tatoo place.
