i recently asked about how a gallstone attack feels etc.
People suggested i go to the dr- the main reason i havent went yet is i have no medical ins. There is clinic where i do go sometimes and pay for the office vist, but sometimes i dont see a dr but they have a PAC. I know this is a silly question but would he know it may be a gallbladder problem when i tell my symptoms? I mean isnt this something pretty basic that he should know? I am only asking becasue i was having a problem with severe pain in my legs a few yrs back and i went to him numerous times and he didnt know what was wrong and kept saying this or that but i was not getting any better-and he finally said he didnt know what was wrong with me-so i had been paying for visits for nothing as i see it- what do you think? thank you

You will have pain in your epigastric area that can radiate to your back. Sometimes it can occur after a meal that contains fatty foods. Not every person has the same symptoms. Get to your doctor and explain how you feel. You will need to have an ultrasound of your liver, gallbladder and pancreas. That should give you a diagnosis if it is gallstones.

I'm certain he will know if you are experiencing gallstone related pain, it isn't something you should ignore, it can be very dangerous if it gets infection. When I had mine, I would get unbearable pain after eating, especially pizza, or spaghetti, cheeseburgers, hard to digest items. The pain will be higher up in your abdomen on the left side, sometimes feels like you are going to have a heart attack. If all else fails, go to the er, I know it may not be one now, but when having an attack, get someone to drive you there. Good luck.

Go to the clinic or save the money for a doctor's visit, it shouldn't be anymore then 100 dollars, tell them to check your gallbladder, My sister had gall stones real bad, and when they did surgery they discovered gangrene had set up, I don't mean to scare you, but you should get it checked. She had pain in stomach and back.

Tell the clinic that you suspect gallstones and prefer to see an MD even if it takes longer because you don't trust PAC (whatever that is).
