My daughter In 1st year ,after birth, suffered many times from pnemonia. she was always given bi-hourly geramycin &penisclin
injections. Afterword she had sufferings from cold.When she was 6-8 months of age, we noticed that she doesn't respond to any sound.We got her well checked up at many places of repute in India(Hospitals-E.N.T Specialists).Except hearing & speech problem, she's very good at computers, Beauty parlour & perfact in all respects. In latest check-up this month, Though at very high frequencies,There is some hearing in her left as well as right ear.Now she is running 25th year of age. Please suggest the best possible treatment for to become normal at hearing & speech

I think I have something stuck in my ear. I told my local pharmacist to check it out be he said that he saw nothing, my parents say that its nothing, but I think I can feel it. Is it more psychological than anything else? Is there an easy way to make sure by putting something, like a liquid, into your ear?

Nothing in my current environment seems to be the source, but 28 years ago I was a printmaker, could that be the source, and would my readings still be so high?

I've asked 2 Dr's, but got no answers. They thought I may have MS when I was 27 (I'm 46 now). I've had a blind spot in 1 eye that comes & goes. Sometimes 1 of my legs just stops working & I can barely walk. I have painful muscle spasms. My leg muscles are so hard & so weak at the same time. They barely hold me up. They are also numb and wobbly. There were times I couldn't even drive because I couldn't keep my feet on the pedals. I've had bladder & bowel issues, severe fatigue, memory loss, & depression. I have numbness & tingling in my hands & fingers that gets worse when I move them. I'm very sensitive to heat. The strangest thing is that some of these symptoms come & go.

I've had 2 MRI's & I had 1 spot of scar tissue show up. They said I had to have 2 spots show before I could get a definite diagnosis of MS. I just tried to blow it off, but the symptoms are getting more severe. Any suggestions?

Is there a type of blindness that develops, doesn't just come suddenly, and is unable to be stopped? I mean like your vision starts to fade, and there is nothing you can do about it until eventually you loose your sight?

Sometimes I get fits of belching where it feels and tastes very carbonated even though I have consumed no carbonated beverages. What causes this and how can this be treated? Should I take more Pepcid, Prevacid, and ginger when this occurs?

I just lost my brother to a lifelong battle with an illness but feel that he was 'aided 'into the end stage and then they had to give a high dose of morphine to stop the breathing.It's known that his wife had another man and I'm uneasy how the event went down. The only words he could force out was this man's name, trouble and cover up before he passed away.What can and should I do?

Just read a bunch of medical journals on the topic of radiation that is emitted from cell phones. How they can not fully say if they do cause harmful effects on people, but it is already know that it kills rats brain cells and causes leaking in their brain after being exposed to cell phone radiation after 2 hours! What do you think? Do you think cell phones may be a culprit to long term disease like cancer, alzheimers and etc? Or is not harmful at all! Or is it too early to know what effect it has? Lets face it, radiation is not a good thing at all when humans are exposed to it right? How long do some of use our cell phones? I think it is something to think about no? What do you think? Thank you for all answer in advance! When answering this question, please lets not think of our own comforts and answer with some honesty and insight!

I took an endescope and it revealed some inflation in my stomach. my stomach became like this in an arobics class and my doctor told me it is not a hurnea. i went to another doctor and he told me its the way i am-i know thats not true because i was not born like this i only became blaoted like this a year ago. please tell me whats wrong with me! i look preganent and i am definatly not preganent.

I was having headaches for the past 2 months on & off. When I get them I have numbness in my left hand,vision problems,sick on the stomach and than the headaches. I went to the hospital they done a CT-Scan,cuz I thought I had a stroke they told me its migraines. Now yesterday the samething, now today I feel so,so tired I really don't feel like doing nothing. A little brain fog. Can anybody tell me what could it be,if u ever had any of this.

I've started the prep work for a colonoscopy scheduled on 1/2, and my stomach hurts a lot. Will this subside as I follow the clear liquid diet tomorrow? Any ideas on how to relieve the pain (can't take painkillers, per doctor's instructions)?
