I've started the prep work for a colonoscopy scheduled on 1/2, and my stomach hurts a lot. Will this subside as I follow the clear liquid diet tomorrow? Any ideas on how to relieve the pain (can't take painkillers, per doctor's instructions)?

Yes, the pain will subside. These are contractions caused by the medication given you to clean out your colon.
For now, I would suggest placing a heating pad across your stomach. This will help relax the muscles.
If you can, try drinking some chamomile tea, or mint tea.
Hang in there, it will all be over soon.
