Basically. I have hovered at 64kg for about a year and a half. I go on a diet and drop one or two kg but then within a week i am back to 64kg and even if i put on weight within a week i am back to that weight. The lowest i have ever been is at 58kg when i wasn running marathons and not weight training.I eat very healthily and exercise very regularly.
I am hypothyroid.
How can i drop those dreaded 4kg and keep them off or is my body supposed to stay at that weight?

I think the main reason is not to bother the laypeople for an evening meal and it helps meditation, reduce obesity (and reduce the suffering of animals and insects involved in producing food) but I think there might be other health reasons?

I am 45 years old and have been running/jogging for the last 22 years or so. A couple of months back, I could not go out for the morning run due to rain for 2 days. The third day, I had pain in the front portion of the left thigh which(I thought) will go away and continued to jog. However, the pain continued so I gave a gap for a few more days. This did not help as the pain came back whenever I started running. I have opted for cycling to keep fit but since I am used to running, cycling does not give me that kind of joy and fitness. I am not on any kind of drugs or medicine routine. Will appreciate some advice and help. There is only a slight stiffness in the effected portion and no pain when I cycle, walk, etc.
