Why a gastric Bypass, so radical. I have had my stomach stapled and so has my daughter, she was 14 when she had it done and intends on having children. We went into it carefully and the doctor said there would be no problems as long as she takes her vitamins. With a gastric bypass even if you are taking vitamins you lose a lot in the process. I was 117 kgs and now 65kgs My daughter was 90 kgs and is now 57kgs Neither of us has ever regretted having it done, life is so different now we are slim. Where I had mine done in Australia they had support group meetings to go to before you had it done, see if you can find these where you live, to listen to other people who have had it done and make your decision from that. It is a life altering operation so don't go into it blind. Your eating habits will forever be different. Good Luck

The first year after a Gastric Bypass you can't have kids. After that you should be able to have kids again, but ask to the surgeon to be sure :)

It's an affective surgery, but does have risks as well, don't forget that.
But its better then gastric banding or a scopinaro
