First, I do not encourage you to do anything secertly like that. It will cause distrust and stress between you and your parents. No, you are not too young to diet depending what you mean by dieting. Fad diets can be very dangerous. What I recommend is talk to your Doctor, or school nurse even. Explain your concerns and your parents concerns. Ask if they can recommend a nutritionist that help you make wise food choices. Also, weight control is more about activity level. Get out and move. Walk around the block, bike to school, play sports, etc.... Be smart and take care of your body. It will be with you all your life. And be careful with your parents. They are trying to do what is best for you. My parents and I didn't get along for a long time and it was terrible. Try real hard to work with them. Show some real thought and they will have to give you the benefit of the doubt... Good luck..

Dont get in the habit of trying to keep secret from your parent because it wont help u in the long run just go to your parents have them take u to see a doctor so he will let u know if u have a weight problem if not that then try not to eat a lot junk like pops and greasy chips try walking riding a bike do things to keep u busy but dont get stressed about it u are still young.

first of all you need to find out ifyour clinically over weight. Go to the nurses office at school and ask them. If you are, NO DIET PILLS!!!! Just try to keep track of what you eat, eliminate most junk foods and sodas. No fast food. Ask for wheat bread instead of white. Try to keep your calorie intake at around 2000 a day. All calorie information is on all food packages. And if you decide to diet, remember to excercise also. You dont need to go hardcore, just try and do 25 situps a day, some jumping jacks, run in place for a while. A good way to get excercise thats under the radar ask your parents to enroll you in some kind of dance class, dancing usually provides a good full body workout. good luck

Instead of dieting alter the way you eat! Reduce the amount of junk food you eat and try and eat more fresh fruit and veg! Also try to do more exercise! Some thing like ballroom dancing! Or Latin dancing! Its a really fun way to get fit! This way your not on a diet as such just taking better CARE of yourself! I think maybe your folks are scared of you crash dieting would you blame them? But by doing what i recommend you are still getting the stuff your body needs but with better benefits! Good luck

I would try just leading a healthier lifestyle. Being more active, walking or riding your bike more, doing less "lazy" activities. Also, you could cut back on snack foods and try to eat the healthier stuff or if you eat the unhealthy stuff, eat less of it.

I think it's too bad that your parents are not concerned about your health. I'm sure they are probably just trying to make sure you have a healthy body image, but your health should always come first!

Eating healthy and exercising is the best form of dieting. Most people think dieting means starving yourself, but in fact if you want a great looking body, just eat healthy food and maybe go jogging 15 minutes a day. :)

You can always exercise secretly. Walk, jog, swim, ride a bike, or just say your full, Mom or Dad.

There is no "secret" way to diet without putting your health in serious danger. Just try to stick with healthy food, avoid junk food, and exercise regularly.
