You have tons of features for color and layout. Also it is safer that myspace. It is very easy to use. I have had mine for over three years now.

If you are just looking for an online journal, go with my space, xanga, msn spaces, yahoo 360 or the like. If you are looking to create your own website and have a blog as a part of that website, then go with wordpress. We love ours, it is very easy to use. I'm finding more and more people are using it for their own websites.
