if you are a girl.. then you are supposed to be curvey with bits to squeeze, lol! if you are a male, if you can pinch more than two inches from your belly when standing up.. you may need to tone up.... record your self on videocamera.. then you can see how you look to other people.... can't tell just be looking in the mirror...
get confidence by feeling good about yourself and loving yourself..

Maybe you can try this method to count the BMI calculator uses your height and weight to calculate your percentage of body fat.

BMI is a better estimate of body fat and health risks than are standard height and weight tables or weight alone. For most people, BMI provides an accurate estimate of weight-related health risks. However, it's not a perfect guide. Its biggest weakness is that it doesn't consider individual factors such as bone or muscle mass. BMI may also:

Underestimate body fat for many older adults or other people with low muscle mass
Inadequately evaluate health risks of people with excess abdominal fat
On the other hand, people who are very muscular and physically fit have relatively high BMIs without added health risks.

BMI is calculated by dividing a person's weight (in kilograms) by his or her height (in meters, squared). BMI can also be calculated by multiplying weight (in pounds) by 705, then dividing by height (in inches) twice.

The chart below shows examples of body mass indexes. The figure at which your height corresponds with your weight is your body mass index.

What Is a Healthy BMI?

A person with a BMI of 18.5 to 24.9 is considered to be at a healthy weight. A person with a BMI of 25-29.9 is considered to be overweight. A BMI over 30 is considered obese. A BMI of 40 or above indicates that a person is morbidly obese. This can increases a person's risk of death from any cause by 50%-150%.

The most important thing is your health is most important...

It may be. Go to a doctor, they have a weight measure that takes into account your age, height, etc., and if you are not over that, you _are_ not too fat. How you look - that depends on how you feel and how you dress, etc., but the most important thing is to protect your health.

Ask someone that isn't trying to sell you something or trying to date you, they are the most likely tobe honest. But know how you look and be comfortable with how you look, any changes are not going to detract from how you carry yourself and feel.
