im trying to get into shape over the summer so im looking for good fun ways to help slim down. will bike riding everyday help slim down your thighs and core or will it just be a total waste of time. what about jogging on an inclined slope... does it help strengthen and slim your thighs...or once again is it a total waste of time. than again i am acombining these techniques with a balanced and nutritional diet.

I don't know that I am lactose intolerant, but in surfing the web on flatulence, lactose intolerance could be the problem, as well as my increase in fiber.

I run a lot of races (about 5K - 10K distances). In addition to running, I train with weights 3 - 4 / week. I usually go fairly heavy. Am I sabotaging my efforts? Should I lighten the weights but go for more reps? I haven't been bulking up but I am curious to see if I am making myself slower by adding too much muscle. I weigh about 160 pounds, 6' 0", 36 years of age, 16% body fat. Thanks

It seems like everytime I eat ice cream or yogurt. I get mucus and a sore throat. I guess I am lactose intolerant. The last time I ate three scoops of ice cream, I felt really ill. I had a headache, cold, and serious congestion.

I enjoy eating soy ice creams and other non-dairy health food alternatives. But, sometimes I have the taste for eating the real "ice cream" or "yogurt" every now and then.

Is there anything that I can do to enjoy real dairy ice cream and not have to feel sick after I eat it.
