Sometimes keeping a food diary can help. Sometimes we don't remember how much we have snacked on during the day. The food diary can help you see if you are snacking excessively or help you see a bad habit.
If snacking is your problem you can look into a couple of options. You can cut down on your snacking or plan for healthier snacks. Don't drastically change your diet unless you know that you can stick with it. Otherwise you just gain all of the weight back because you go back to old habits. Just change a little at a time. Try having two "healthy meals" a week. Something as simple as having grilled food, instead of something fried.
Also, to lose weight you really need to do some type of exercise. Find something that you enjoy doing. You will be more likely to stick with it. Maybe walking, swimming, yoga, dance, aerobics. Just whatever you find interesting. If you bore easily you may want to try doing more than one thing. For instance, walking with friends on Monday and Wednesday, yoga on Tuesday and Thursday. The next week try dance on Mon. and wed. and aerobics or Tues. and Thurs.. You just have to find what works for you. The most important thing is to keep it fun and interesting. Take time and try some new things!
I hope these suggestions were helpful. Good luck and just keep the faith in yourself. You can do it. You just have to decide that you are ready to.

Start working out and watching what you eat. Don't go on a diet or starve yourself, that is crazy. It is simple to lose weight, you just have to burn more calories than you consume. Eat healthy foods that feed your body and make you health. Drink lots of water. Made sure to do lots of cardio because that burns fat. Also, light weight lifting helps build muscle which in turn increases your metabolism, it also strengthens your bones. Also, as far as cardio, you don't have to run a lot or exert yourself, as long as you do some fast walking or something, that will be fine. Just do it for like 20-30 every day because fitness walking can help you just as much as running without all the exertion or stress on your joints. Also, it might help to get a work-out buddy to motivate your. Or join a fun workout class so you don't get bored and burnt out. Good luck and have fun sweating! You can do it!!!

I lost 12 pounds in three weeks recently. All I did was cut fast food out of my diet, and hit the gym for two hours every other day. Oh, and remember, the faster you lose weight, the quicker it is to gain it back. Slow weight loss is easier to keep off.

Eat smaller portions, stick to whole grains and nothing with bleached flour or hydronated oil, eat plenty of vegies and fruit so you don't have sugar cravings and drink lots of water. LOTS of water. Add a change up to your work outs. Dance to some music vigerously for 30 minutes, go for a walk for 20 minutes EVERY day and don't weigh yourself, you'll get discouraged and quit. Go by how tight your clothes are. Also do stretches every morning and before bed. this help kepp your body from getting sore. You don't want to be too sore because then that when we start making excuses to not work out.

1. Reduce the consumption of carbo-hydrates, such as white rice, white bread, white flour, potatoes).
2. Eat lots of meat (Yes, sounds contradicting.). Your body doesn't store excess protein, and will leave your body soon after.
3. EXCERCISE. This is critically important. Start with 15 minute walks, increasing intensity, time, and distance every 2 weeks.
4. For vegetables, go for green-leafed, and sour veggies. These will help you out.
5. Don't eat after 6:30.
6. Drink lots of water.
7. At least 7.5 - 8 hours of sleep a day.
