A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

How to get Started:Decide how much you want to loose and see how many calories a day it will take to make it happen by year's end.Then, work into your routines however many of these eating tweaks and exercises you need to achieve your goal.
Slash 250 cal.s a day to lose about 25 lbs. in a year, Slash 500 cal.s to loose 50 pounds.
This is based on a 150-pound person: you may need to cut more/ fewer calories depending on ur weight, age & gender. It also assumes your normal calorie intake essentially stays the same and your weight is stable.

3.Be a Ballerina - As ur coffee drips, stand sideways, put 1 hand on the counter, and lift the outside leg straigh out in front of u, keeping it extended. With upper body straight, hold for a few sec.s and move it to the side: hold and extend it behind u. Do 5x on each leg. BURNS 10
4. Talk It UP - Every time u grab the phone, stand up & pace around. BURNS 50
5. Carry Some Weight - When ur grocery Shopping/ running erands, wear a backpack with 5-10 lbs bag of sugar inside to increase resistance & burn more calories. Add purchases to ur load as it becomes easier. BURNS 20 (FOR AN HOUR OF ERRANDS)
6.Pump at the Pump - While ur getting gas, With 1 hand on ur car, Stand on the balls of ur feet & slowly rise up & down for as long as it takes to fill ur tank. BURNS 10

8. Jog for Junk Mail - For every piece of junk mail u get each day, do 1 lap around ur house/ building, / up & down a flight of stairs. BURNS 35-140
9. Play Footsie - After Dinner, while u are sitting at the table, extend your right leg out & slowly bend it up & down, squeezing & holding in the up position for at least 5 sec.s. Repeat 5x for each leg. BURNS 10

I congratulate you for trying to lose weight and getting fit. Keep it up...I'm very fit and it takes more than just working out. You need to eat healthy too. Stop eating processed foods and eat more fruits and veggies. Don't drink soda...here are some tips on eating first: -trying drinking a gallon of water a day. This can help you lose weight as you are ridding your body of all the salt which gives you more weight. -eat more high fiber foods that make you poop but you will be losing weight this way and fiber is good for you. -make sure you are eating carbs, protein and fiber in each meal. carbs are great for energy. -eat less foods in packages. eat more raw natural foods and stick to a regular schedule. similar tastes of foods. as for exercising running is the best thing. Cardio is really good if you want to lose fat. I would recommend continue your running and the nights you arent running do things to strengthen your muscles. Crunches will not help you get rid of belly fat, cardio will. Dont waste your time on crunches and instead do lunges or squats. Do other cardio so you aren bored like rollerblading, biking or swimming. Try these things, food is a HUGE part in this. Dont starve youself. Try the gallon of water a day, you are sure you lose a pound a week doing this. I hope this helps. And I hope you lose the weight, goodluck!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Stop eating sugary foods. My brother stopped eating cookies ice cream etc. and he only drank water or milk-he lost 60 pounds in three months. My friend also stopped eating sugar, except for fruits, and she lost a whole lotta weight in about 6 months (she never told me how much)

They still ate good sized meals so don't think you have to starve yourself.

I told someone else what worked for me. Put on a pedometer, you can get one in the sporting goods section of walfart (ugh!, I hate walfart) and aim for 10,000 steps a day. Go on fitday.com and enter the foods you eat every day. It adds up your calories, protein and fats for you. Eat chicken, carrots, apples, bananas, and everything with color. Avoid mcdonalds, frying or deep frying, but every once in a while enjoy a couple of good foods, things you like, to keep you motivated.

Moderation from the get go....Cut up fruits and vegetables (like cantaloupe and cucumbers) and place in a sealed bowl or bag so you have snacks on hand when you do get hungry...Good luck and if you have any questions, just keep asking...

well instead of eating less.. try replacing the fattier foods with things that are healthier like pretzels instead of chips

don't eat late at night because your metabolism is the slowest when you sleep

don't starve yourself or skip meals.. .everytime you skip a meal, your body thinks its starving so it learns to store food you eat instead of digesting it and burning it off for energy because its afraid it might not get food later, its a survival instinct that makes you fatter not skinnier

don't strain yourself while you work out... you're not going to see results right away.. instead, make a schedule for yourself and stick to it and gradually add more to it as you go along
