carry less to work and get there early to climb stairs, you will never have to worry about what your bod looks like with that kind of workout. However, if your job isn't worth this daily workout then it will soon become apparent too you, what a great way to test your career.

You need to ask your boyfriend if he's ok with this, which he probably won't be, but hiding it from him would even be worse. This isn't the kind of job an attached woman should have. I'm guessing you must have a pretty hot body to get this job offer, so why not be a waitress instead? Your looks would get you great tips if your flirty and friendly with the customers and you would keep your dignity intact. ** Trust me, if you start getting naked for customers then your going to start getting offers to get paid for sex with clients outside of work. I'm not saying you will take it, but the temptation will be there. Are you prepared to handle that?

Take the job. It's against code for a 40 story building to have a broken elevator for a long time.

There's no way in hell a 40 or more story building is going to remain open for business if the sole elevator is broken. Not in the US at least.
Your potential boss is either a moron or he's yanking your chain.
Do you really want to work for someone that stupid?

Every one is saying take the job. But think about it. Going by stairs to the 40th floor. Is that a joke. It would take more than an hour just to go up there!!! Tell me the $$$ you get, than we can make a decision.

Make money and stay in shape at the same time. If you go up and down the stairs for 15 minutes a day, it's better than going to they GYM for 2 hours twice a week.

Take the job! The elevator won't be broken forever and it would be great excercise!! Bring a good pair of shoes and head to work early, you'll need to to climb that many flights! Good luck! You will have killer legs!!!

Consider the job offer then speak with your employer and discuss the problem with the elevator. What is important is that you get the job first.

I'm with Claire. :-) Take the job, take the stairs, and skip the gym until the elevator gets fixed. Then if you find that you don't have time for the gym, you can keep on taking the stairs.

Sure, why not? Get there early and take breaks every so often on the way up and down. The elevator will be fixed before you know it, and you'll be in awesome shape.
