I'm getting a root canal in early october for my cavity.

I have a very low pain tolerance, and have had TONS of fillings, cavities, crowns and such, but the procedures are a blur to me now, I don't remember much of anything.

My dentist put in a temporary filling today, [which hurt like h*ll, as they had to rinse with VERY cold water and shove it down in there to make it stay.]

My main concern is the needles before the procedure.

Will the procedure be done in one visit, with only one set of needles?

Is there any ways to numb me without needles that is covered by common insurance?

Will I be numb enough that I wont feel the injections?
HELP.

i the the hard bristles wipe away more plaque and the go farther in between the teeth. I think they feel better, but people want softer bristles. Which ones are better for your teeth?

according to my dentist my teeth are A1, the color he used to make my temps, which is the 2nd whitest shade. when i got my crowns in the were a couple of shades darker than my temps because they were side by side on the tray. he pulled out the shade guide and readjusted it to B1 (whitest shade) because the crowns were too dark (i think the lab made a mistake and gave me a darker shade instead of A1). I went in today for the crowns (metal infused) and they are too white. i don't think i can get my other teeth that white even tho i've been told my teeth are really white.the crowns are for two of my top teeth which are side by side and on the inside (towards my tongue) they are really short just like the way he grinded them down for the root canal. the rest of my teeth are not this way. when he was adjusting the bite he started grinding down on my natural bottom teeth. the crowns feel and look bulky to me and i think that are definately longer on the outside.........

i have 2 wisdom teeth on the bottom. they have been under the gum for a few years and my dentist decided that they arent coming in anymore. and they dont want them to mess up my teeth (i had braces about 3yrs ago) so i have to go see someother dr to get them cut out.
they are right below the gum. i have like a flap of gum over it and you cannot see the tooth at all.
what is gonna happen??
will it hurt a lot??
will i be put to sleep or just numb meds??
any other info??
i am scared. i have a really really really low pain tolerance level :(

I think I ate too many foods and drank too much pop that eroded the enamel from my teeth. It's not eroded that much, but it's just visible.

Is there anything I can do to get it back?

My tooth is driving me nuts. I was supposed to have it pulled about a year ago, but at the time it wasn't giving me any problems. Now, my income isn't at it's best, and I can't afford to see my dentist. Is there any type of pain reliever that I can get. Don't say cloves, orajel or ambasol... it doesn't work. Don't say pop a few tylenol, because that doesn't stop the pain. I am tempted to pull the tooth out myself, but I know the consequences in doing that. I know on a adult tooth how far the roots go and if its infected things will just get worse... PLEASE help, serious people respond please.

On the right side of my mouth, all the way behind my last tooth, I keep getting this burning pain. If I touch it, it feels sore and it hurts!

Is this normal? I'm sure I brush my teeth thoroughly. Haha.
