Im 15 and all my teeth are adult teeth, and when i was playing basketball my tooth got chiped from the metal net, so about 1/5 of my tooth is missing, and its quite noticable. Will it grow back? Or at least smooth out? It looks choppy.

ok i dont know if that question makes any sense but basically i am a senior in high school and i go to a technical high school where we focus and study on a specific career while finishing our normal credits required to graduate from a regular high school. well i am in the dental academy and all seniors have this big project that takes the whole year to do and we have to fulfill a need within dental industry. I came up with the problem about how there are so many general dentists that are going into cosmetic dentistry and basically promoting people to get veneers or things done to them rather than maintaing their own teeth and going to a general dentist for routine check ups. Like they are basically telling people its ok not to take care of their natural teeth becauseif something were to happen to them they can take the easy way out and get fake teeth. Although i think this may be a good problem i dont think its enough info to write a resarch paper on it...any ideas on other problems

I had my wisdom teeth out about 3 weeks ago and now on the upper side of my mouth the extraction site there is irritated and a bit sore. I think this is from rubbing up against the molar near it, but i'm not sure. is this normal?

I'm twelve years old, I have ten "baby-teeth".. Two over on either side from my front teeth, I have baby-teeth that are underneith my newly coming adult-teeth.. They're doubling up -- plus some of my bottom teeth stick out toward my lip more than others.. WIll I need braces? When can I get them as far as age-wise?

Do I have to have all my baby-teeth gone before I can get braces? I hear this somewhere.

Do you think my two teeth on top will fall out eventually, or will they need to be pulled? Does it hurt if they are pulled?

Could anyone explain the mechanics of Dental Bridges? Two of my permanent molars (1 on each side) were pulled out a few months ago, and i was advised to get bridges for the gaps to keep my front teeth from separating.

Also, it's already around 4 months since they were pulled out. How long can it wait before the front teeth start separating? I'm planning on getting bridges soon. Thanks for any advice!

I've had some dental issues. A while back I had a root canal, but the dentist did not cap the tooth. Later on, as it happens, the tooth broke. So I got a crown, but it hasn't been great.

Along my gumline, there is a large protrusion, I'd say at least a cenemeter or two, it's a little tender to the touch and the gum area around my crown is still very sensitive, it hurts when I brush my teeth. I can push the crown with my tongue and it feels as if it moves, and it's slightly painful.

Has anyone had anything similar happen? I do not have the money to go to a dentist right away and I'm hoping I'm not in any serious danger of my tooth rotting out underneath the crown, or something. I just don't have the money to get dental work right now.

Hi I have a wisdom tooth that basically completely broke out on me while I was eating corn. I think that I have a nerve ending just dangling from where the tooth used to be. Does anyone have any idea how much this would cost to take care of and if it can get infected? How much is taking out wisdom teeth in general? Thanks

I had some stomach issues, and I was vomitting a lot... And it took a toll on my teeth by wearing the enamel off. Crazy- but thats the only thing I can think of. Now my teeth are definitely not as white as they used to be. Horrible.

I want to get them bleached... but I have braces on for another year :(. Any suggestions? I want something I can use to get them WHITE... QUICK

Walnut, Diamond Bar, West Covina, Whittier, Fullerton area, California. I want a good professional hygienist with delicate hands. I don't want a dentist to rush to clean my teeth. The hygienist I have now is really good but he is too far away for me and for my parents since we moved Thanks in advance.
