No, putting the baby to bed with a bottle does, though.
Make kids sit and drink. Finish the bottle before you lay them down.
ANY drink with sugar [ milk, juice, kool aid, soda ] can cause 'bottle baby' teeth, and ear infections.

Milk will cause decay as will any sugar based drinks if the child is allowed to go to bed with a bottle or sippy cup full of it or if they are allowed to nurse the drink for a long period of time. Make your child sit down and finish the drink and then if possible give them some water after cause it will rinse anything left in the mouth away. And always brush 2x a day..Good Luck

No...overuse of bottles or pacifiers (nipples) can cause teeth rotting. It could also be a calcium deficiency. The milk itself wouldn't cause it as the calcium in the milk promotes healthy teeth. Check with your pediatrician for other possible causes.

No. Sugar-based foods may contribute to tooth decay, but few 16 month olds eat a lot of these.

I wouldn't think so if you're brushing regularly. You should never let the kid have a bottle over night because anything on the teeth that long can be bad.

It is possible. Milk contains a lot of sugar. Why do you ask?
