call around to different dentist offices until you find one that seems to care. Tell them you are freaked out and need gas to calm you down. They should do it and you should be happy. Be sure and take an ipod or something to listen to your music while sitting in the chair. Ignore the dentist and chill out to some nice tunes while he works on you.
Trust me, you can find a dentist that will listen to you.

I would say just call and talk to the dentist yourself. Find one that is willing to take the time to make you feel comfortable. Many dentists understand the fear and will be as accommodating as possible.

find a place that offers hypnotism... they treat phobias successfully... doesn't cost too much... can probably treat or help other things while you're there too.
