Have you ever seen what they do on 10 Years Younger? I'm not sure what it's called but it can make your teeth straight in less then a day. Hope this helps.

some slight change is possible. A front tooth of mine was slightly twisted when I was younger. After I started playing the trumpet, the constant pressure for several hours of practic each day caused it to flatten out.
If you wanted to you could in theory do other things to align teeth without braces. If you had two teeth that were too close to each other placing a toothpick between them would force them to slowly spread apart if you used a tooth pick every day.
I know there is a DDS thats claiming you cant realign them on without paying one of his fellow dentists but frankly its a lie. And ask a dentist if your teeth will stay straight after they take the braces off. They wont, over time they will revert back to where they were.

Well, there are invisalign, and other mechanisms... But it depends on how your teeth are twisted. Mine were my canines and my front teeth were shifting to the left. If it hadn't been for my canines that created a crossbite, I would have gotten invisalign. Sometimes there is just no way around it.
If my canines weren't going to fall out and my teeth weren't going to shift, would have lived without them.
But check with your dentist or orthodontist. Get them to look and tell you how bad it is, and if it will continue. Some teeth are crooked one way all through your life, and some just keep getting worse.
But if you need braces, and there are no other ways, just get them. They're not as bad as everyone says. You get used to them after a few weeks. I forget I have them sometimes.

Sorry, but w/o braces it's not possible.
Why?
Because the teeth need to be "held" in place to allow the bone around the teeth to become solid when they are in the correct alignment.
