Oh yeah, they wouldn't do that without giving you gas. That would be too painful for the average human. lol.

In spite of the first answer, it is more likely a tooth is pulled with only local anesthesia. You may have to search for a dentist that will pull (other than wisdom) teeth under gas because anesthesia is fairly dangerous. There is one guy in the Dallas area who is advertising doing ALL dentistry under gas, but that is probably because he has a full time gas passer, possibly an RNA (registered nurse anesthetist) on staff.

You should never want to be gassed for taking a tooth out, Why? because any morphine or stuff that fights infections is bad for your body, rather think of using the right Vitamins for your system, so that when you do have to take something, that you will be strong and recover from it easily.
I know people that went to the Dentist for years and did not take anything, nothing, zero, Nada. So I encourage you to stick to as little as possible.
Gas side effects
analgesia
depersonalization
dizziness
euphoria
and slight hallucinations. (Info from Wikipedia)

Having gas (Relative Anaesthesia) does not preclude any soreness in the time of a technique. It purely chills you out and enables you loosen up. you will have the the tooth out without it common and straightforward. With community anaesthetic you mustn't experience any soreness while having the the tooth extracted. that is an ordinary feeling to have a the tooth pulled out - slightly tension and consistent with possibility a great of pulling yet all individuals could have it refrained from the gas. Having the gas purely prolongs the quantity of time contained in the dental chair... in case you opt for the technique over as at as quickly as as a possibility, purely bypass with the community anaesthetic and you'd be out of there a lot swifter!

You can. Any time you go under and are knocked out by gas, there is a risk of brain damage or death.
Read the article below about the death of a little girl in Chicago who went under...
