i fear the needles

I don't like them either. It hurts when they give you shots in your mouth, and them sometimes you're all numb and stuff-that drives me crazy! I also don't like the little thing that they scrape your teeth with.

Years ago the Dentist did not have shots available. I was a little kid at the time and the drills were very slow. It took 20 minutes to drill out one tooth. It was pure torture so I think my answer would have to be the dentist drill

I also fear the "evil laugh" the doc gives when he puts the needle in, but I guess that's not technically a "tool"..

Well, needles STINK. Trust me; I had to have 3+ shots in the roof of my mouth... right past the tooth muscles!!! Talk about pain; sheesh, I thought I was being stabbed with a butcher's knife!! If you want to imagine my pain, then imagine a knife being painfully, slowly, inserted between your teeth and going 2 1/2 inches in!!!!!

Def the metal pick they prick your teeth and gums with, that sucks not really liking the dentist much.

I fear whatever the little sharp thing is they poke your tooth with looking for sticky spots (cavities). I know when it sticks it means I have to get another filling. UGH!!!!

i fear everything from the chair to the drills i was just in ther for a root canal last week and i have to go next week for more. :{
