He pulls some jaw bone with it??

The tooth is held into the holes in the bone by its little bony roots. If he pulls too hard it is more likely that those little roots will snap off rather than slide out of their holes in the bone.

That means he is going to have to dig around in the jawbone until he accounts for all those fragments on every root of the tooth (and some can have multiple roots). That is not a pleasant activity.

Think of it like pulling a rock out of the ground in your garden. Sooner or later you will get the rock up but you are never going to get the entire Earth to be pulled up by your shovel. It is too big compared to what you are removing.

Monica,
Sometimes if a tooth is extracted using the wrong tool for the job or is done in haste using too much force, bone can be fractured and come out with the tooth.
Don't worry though, in time the bone will heal and things will be back to normal.

If you are referring to wisdom teeth, that is fairly common. sometimes bone around the root of the teeth doesn't separate. the bone may or may not re-grow.
