I brush my teeth quite a bit but if I don't use listerine my gums swell real bad and then my mouth is sore. Whats going on???

I also sometimes hear those clicks whenever I open or close my mouth. I think it has something to do with my teeth alignment.. Please help.. I feel that my jaws would 'lock' if bite the wrong way.. thanks in advance.. :p

My mother had dental surgery and they took 14 bottom teeth out. now she has what appears to be small pieces of bone coming through the gums. IS this normal?THEY are still sore spots. WHAT can we do? It has been 6 weeks ago she had them pulled.

I had my tooth extracted on Wednesday. It's not my wisdom tooth, but the lower last tooth. Anyhow, I don't have any pain and there doesn't seem to be much swelling. However, the socket seems to be covered by this white thing. I don't know if it's mucus or what. And I have a bad taste and breath. Underneath this white thing I assume is the blood clot. Do I have an infection? Would antibiotics take care of this?

i went to the dentist and was told i needed a root canal. when the dentist drilled the older filling out, he found copious amounts of blood and pus. he said i had an abcess. he proceeded to give me the root canal, put a temp filling in, and gave me a script for antibiotics and percocets. next day i was in severe pain. he closes at 12:00 p.m. on fridays and doesn't have a way to get in touch for emergencies. i became bedridden saturday and part of today. i still feel ill. the pain has pretty much left the teeth, but the "halo" headache continues. percocet does nothing for the headache. i haven't missed a dose of amoxicillin. what should i do? i've never had so much pain from a simple dental procedure. the original pain came after a filling was put on the side of the tooth at the gumline. he gave me 2 desensitizers a week apart. that's why the root canal. am i gonna be ok?
