yes, unfortunately it can chip your teeth. a good friend of mine chipped away the enamel on his top teeth by running it over them all the time. it made his teeth very weak and brittle over the years as well as uneven and chipped. he now has false teeth at the age of 25. (and yes to you nay sayers, he did brush his teeth.. lol )
