Yes, wisdom teeth erupt approximately when you turn 17. The second molars are probably the teeth that are coming in now, if we are talking about you, and you are 12. The second molars, specifically 2, 15,18, and 31 are nicknamed the "twelve year old molars". They might seem like wisdom teeth, but that's because your mouth is still smaller and growing. As you get older, your jaw lengthens hence allowing more room for more teeth. Children only have 20 teeth, but adults actually have 32. I am a dental hygienist so, this answer is as good as it gets.

The age of twelve is when most people usually get what is called the "12 year molars" which are different from wisdom teeth. But some times wisdom teeth can come in at that age. Usually most people will have grown all their teeth by age 25.

umm yes those are just now growing in for me and i'm 17 and my cousin had hers pulled out when she was 19 or 20 or something.
Are you sure they're not just the 12-year-old molars? These are called that because they usually come in at 12 (first molars at 6, second at 12, third are wisdom teeth)

for them to to be in yes. you could have your 12 yr molars like someone else said earlier. however your wisdom teeth are always there they are just "hiding" under your gums until your around 17-21. But I suppose it is possible for them to come.
