Okay, around 4 hours ago I got 3 cavities filled near my front teeth. I ended up not being able to go back to school due to possible drool factor.
My upper lip isn't as numb as it used to be. But the inside of the lip is extremely dry and I am still afraid of drinking fluids or anything. I am having trouble closing my mouth, I mean I can very easily do it, but it is like there is a spring and I am most comfortable with my mouth open. The dentist decided to file the filling with some metal thing, it got near my gums and each of the cavities (all the cavities were between teeth), and blood lines the cracks. My drool (sorry for the term) covers the teeth, so I can't use a q-tip to wipe it up.
I have a toothache in the biggest cavity (a 9), whhy??
My lip is still numb 4 hours later, is this normal? I can smile, but not laugh, and smiling feels awkward.
