I have a child with ADHD, and he in no way has a "lazy mind" as SH up there put it. Children with ADHD in my experience are very active, and have a hard time controlling themselves. There minds are constantly "running". And they have a hard time concentrating and focusing on daily tasks.
The medication helps them to do that. It calms them just enough, but does not put them into a "zombie" state that most parents fear.

My child started taking his medication almost two years ago, and is now gone from F's to A's and B's.

According to the state of research, ADHD is a syndrome that affects children because of hereditary genetic consequences.

However, even if this is related, there is only a small remote chance that your children with the other parent must be always affected by the actual condition. You should consult with specialists.
Also this answer is valid only in the case where both your children have been diagnosed specifically with ADHD (and not only one is having the actual condition while the other is only showing symptoms as under strong influence from a parent).

ADHD is a fictional disorder doctors want you to believe in order for them to prescribe their medication. The simple fact remains, the term ADHD is for those with a lazy mind and the fact your children both have it with the potential of a third is proof they are learning it from their environment. As a mother, it is your obligation to see to it they are not provided any leniency with their learning skills and education. Once you allow them to sway away from the importance of learning, you allow them to stop using their mental aptitude.

Do a Google search for curing ADHD without medication. There are organizations who reteach the learning process of these people and make them WORK to overcome their laziness.

No, your third child will not necessarily have adhd but growing up in an environment with other children who have it, they will have their own challenges for sure.
