You will have some pain and discomfort at first. Learning to eat again was the hardest for me. Make sure you have some soft foods available - like pudding, yogurt, and ice cream. Gradually, you'll adjust to the braces and it will not be a problem. You'll be amazed at how quickly your teeth start moving. There is no need to be nervous. Look around - there are so many people that have braces. We all get through it!

The process is really nothing. First they take an impression of your mouth and you have to bite on this gooey stuff that starts to get hard, once those are out, they start to put on the the brackets on each tooth with this cement type glue, put the wire on then the rubber bands, and wahla your all set. Your mouth and jaw will hurt because you have had your open for such a long time. Mine are coming out in 3-4 months. The time will pass by. Dont worry
