A couple weeks ago my back tooth was hurting really bad but it eventually went away within a week. Now the other side is hurting. Its swollen and it hurts the worse when im sleeping. I dont have dental insurance right now so what should i do!

I am going to be fitted with braces fairly soon and people say that you should buy an electric toothebrush. I have looked at prices and they are reasonabaly priced but i don't want to wase money. (well who doesn't) so i was wondering wether an electric toothbrush will clean my teeth better than a normal one.

When i got my wisdom teeth out 4 days ago, i was surprised at how little pain i had the first day. The next morning i woke up feeling allright with just a bit of pain and my gums still slightly bleeding. An hour after waking i got a significant fever- i called the dentist and was prescribed to penicillin. After taking penicillin and one ibuprofen my fever and pain subsided. Since then while still taking penicillin i continue to get fevers about two times a day. It is now the 4th morning since my wisdom teeth were taken out and i woke up in the worst pain yet, my glands and throat are now swollen and it hurts to swollow, i have stomach upset and nasea as well as a fever, and because of the nasea i know if i take the penicillin/ibuprofen that i will just vomit it up. If you've had a similar experience, let me know how you corrected it. Should i go to my Gen Practitioner? Call my dentist again?

I have a weird sore in my mouth, I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it might be.

The sore is on the upperside of my cheek inside my mouth. It looks like a little fold of skin (or cheek to be exact), but is shaped almost pimple like. (but of course you do not have oil glands in your mouth). It hurts a little bit. I know that it isn't a cold sore or a canker sore.

I brush my teeth twice a day, so I don't think I got this from bad hygiene. And I have never kissed anyone before in my life, so that rules that out. Does anyone know what this might be? If you do, what can I do to get rid of it?

I've haven't been to the dentist for about three years. I've always been afraid. Lately, some of my teeth on the top feels werid and when i eat, it feels werid...but it's happening for all my teeth. My jaw kinda feels sore but I'm afraid to go to the dentist and find out that all my teeth have cavities. I don't know what's worng with my teeth

What i mean by free exams is that, Will they take a picture of my teeth and see if they can fix it to be straight. And look through the teeth to see how much each one would cost to get veneers. Will they charge for it? If they dont does any one know which dentist for ex: Apple Dentist.

My wisdom tooth has been growing in but not hurting me!! well now its hurting me! Like my tooth is rotten and I cant eat chew anything and that really sucks because I am really hungry!! lol anyways the point of ths question is: I just found out I dont have dental insurance anymore. In 05 I ran into a glass door and messed up my two front teeth! Yes you may laugh! lol anyways After my mom got them fixed she stopped our dental insurance because she said she really wasnt saving anything!! I have a really hard time opening my mouth and the pain is only on the left side of my face. Also, there is a large lump that feels like a knot in the muscle? The swelling is all the way down but the knot remains, I'm just wondering what my help get rid of this or ease the pain.

i have recently devolpoed a hard swollen place in the area where my bottom jaw ends it is not under any teeth and feels like it is growing off of my jaw bone in the back of my mouth the dentist prescribed antibiotic, it hasnt helped. she said it doesnt fell like infection....anybody have any ideals

I just got my braces on the 5th of Jan. How can i cope with the pain? It's not aching, but it's sort of irritating. What are some examples of soft foods I should eat? What should I do at school after eating lunch to get the food stuck in my teeth out? How do you break a bracket? Does it hurt? If you know any of these answers, please respond, and if you have any other tips feel free to share. Thanks! :D
