My daughter was BORN with two teeth. Yes, you heard me right, two teeth. No, they were not buds, no not my imagination but actual TEETH. We had to pull one out the day she was born and we still have it. We just put it in a plastic container and there it sits. That has been almost 11 years ago. I really don't know what we'll do with it. We keep it because now it looks so small but we have pictures of her when she was born where those same two teeth look so big.

teeth don't need anything to keep them preserved, after they come out there is nothing to cause decay, so just put it in a small ring box, or plastic bag, I should think it would keep indefinally..

I've always just kept them as they are - not done anything special to them.
I found one of my teeth in the draw the other day, OH thought it was rather gross that I'd kept it - but hey, its a nice tooth!

You can get little "tooth keepers" for these. We got one in silver, shaped like a bell with a little gold fairy (presumably the tooth fairy!) sitting on top. ISTR we got it from a jewellers. You must "record" every little special moment like this: life doesn't come with a rewind button.

If you are very creative, you could put together something like the following (or ask an artist to do it for you):

freeze them in carbonite. no seriously, ask your dentist, I'm sure they have a simple solution or something that can harden around them, or a spray on preservative or something.
