Preparation (like giving injection) may take some time like 15 minutes but actual removal would be roughly in 2 minutes.

I just had 4 teeth pulled in one sitting, local anesthesia only. 3 molars and a premolar. All on one side and all in a row. It took my oral surgeon approx. 4 minutes to pull all 4 of them. They were all uncomplicated, straight pulls, and very broken-down. From the time I got my novocaine shots to the time the last suture was cut and they had me sit there and chill out and chat for 10 min., I would say 20 minutes. Arrived a few min. late for the appointment and still got home within 50 min. It is neither a long, nor painful, procedure.

My Dr. is a board-certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon, not a regular dentist. This is pretty much all he does all day long and has been doing it 20 yrs. That could be how I had everything done so fast & well. Look for a board-certified specialist and you are in good hands.

Good luck!

From injection to extraction it took my dentist about 60 minutes for my molar. My friend was in the dentist's chair for about 50 minutes when her molar was extracted.

about a 20 minute process in total, considering that you don't bleed too much or that the tooth is hard to get out or that you aren't allergic to the pain killer.

depends on the tooth itself if it will break while being pulled so im thinkin its different for everyone.
