If surgery is too expensive for right now, what can be done? My girlfriend's impacted wisdom teeth are causing her a lot of pain (prolonged headaches, aching jaw.)

My dentist can put on braces. She said I needed them in a 2nd phase. I had them when I was 10 so I guess this is the 2nd phase. I have a few concerns though. I already got the braces but now my family & friends are starting to ask if I'll have enough room. I looked & it doesn't look like it. My right canines (top & bottom) are in the way of my right front teeth. But she said we don't need to extract them to make room. My dad says it sounds like she just wants to make money. It worried me cuz the rest of my teeth are fine, its just my front that's vrooked cuz of those 2 but i have fuill mouth braces

Ok, so I basically have two types of braces to choose from. I can get either ceramic braces or normal metal braces. I heard that ceramic braces can stain your teeth, but then again, metal braces would look horrible on me! Please help me pick. Thanks in advance!

If so, does it really work?? I'm not talking about using it for a toothache. I'm only talking about using it on the gums. I have heard it helps...

I'm going to be getting them out; they said it'd a week before you should really do anything. But should you wait longer before playing flute or French horn because of the constant mouth movement/involvement?

This afternoon I was eating a lifesaver and & I bit it and my tooth broke in half. It's on the right side behind my eye tooth. I mean like a huge chunk (like most of the tooth)just broke off and the piece that's left is black. Why's this happening? My 2 front teeth did the same thing in November. I haven't been to a dentist in a long time but I thought I was doin ok takin care of my teeth. Maybe not? So what now? I'm 14 and we don't have dental insurance.

I looked in the back of my mouth, on the upper jaw, in the upper left quadrant and one of the tooths has moved out of position! before they were all perfectly straight and one is at an angle and misaligned with respect to the others! there is a gap between the adjacent tooth and food is getting stuck in there!! and the other adjacent tooth is hard to floss in between as the gap has become much smaller!!!! What should i do !!! Is this normal??

Also i wear a night guard on the upper teeth and it still fits although not as snug and it feels tender around the tooth that was moved when i wear it!!! HELP!

I had braces for 5 years and visit the dentist every 6 months and i paid a lot of money and my teeth were PERFECT before this!!

I just got my braces tightened today, &I was instructed to wear a rubber band on the right side of my mouth only. I was wondering why do I only have to wear it on "one" side of my mouth & what is the purpose of wearing rubber bands with your braces?

All help is greatly appreciated.
