Teeth are reduced down as well, however some large bone fragments can still be left over, such as a hip or shoulder bone. Those larger fragments are placed into a pulverizer and ground to a uniform consistency. Also, the remains are more like sand and gravel than ash, and generally weigh between 5-7 pounds after the cremation.

The teeth are burned and turn to ash along with everything else. The only thing that can be left after a cremation is metallic pieces such as a pacemaker etc.

in a cremation, the fire gets so hot that everything burns. even the teeth. if the teeth were left, then the bones would be partially left as well.
