You can take 1000 mg first dose but with all medications you should check with your physician. I have been given 1000mg by the dentist prior to dental work, as a preventative measure due to childhood rhuematic fever.

You can take 2 pills first time around and it is sometimes reccomended for really bad infections, it may have a bad effect on you belly be sure to take food with your meds

Take only as directed!!! 500mg is very strong. Just one dose may make you naseous. There is no need to take 2. Hope you feel better soon!

Take it just like the doctor told you to take it. As long as you take all of them then the medicine will work.
