Dental - December 2006

I think i have infected gums, one area of gum around my eye tooth has been sore for a few days, so today i put some peroxide on it, it immediatly turned white and burned. After brushing i used mouth wash and flossed, and used the peroxide again this evening and the same thing happened, along with some blood. My question is, what can i do to help with until i can get into a dentist?

My teeth are not as white and perfect as I would like them to look, i.e., a la hollywood. Paying over $600 to whiten them is too much, but I can't help but feel self-conscious about my smile. I especially feel embarrassed smiling for photos. What's a girl to do?

i have to bubbles on each side of the tooth. 1 of them burst and the other side is still swollen. what should i do. please help. my glands are swollen and its very hard for me to eat. also in the back of my mouth my wisdom tooth..............the gum is broken. please help

I had a filling done on a rear molar about 3 weeks ago. To this day I still have pain up in that area when I chew on that side. Kind of like a radiating pain. The tooth right next to it has a filling thats about 15 years old, could the drilling have aggrevated that?

Has anyone ever had Invisalign braces? I'm meaning the ones that are like a clear mouth guard. Not the porciline with a wire thru it or anything. How did you find them? My 2 front teeth are crocked, and I want something hopefully not too noticable. How long did the treatment take? Were they much more expensive than normal braces. Did you have to wear them all the time even when sleeping?

I have an oral surgeon appt. in 2 days but it is killing me now. I have been taking vicodin and oxycodone every 6 hours around the clock and they work for a little bit but it seems 2 hours before i can take another one the pain comes back even worse. HELP ME PLEASE.

Two month ago I had a terrible pain in my teeth.
And as I went to my dentist it became clear that ithere was periodontitis over the root of my tooth in the upper jaw.
So I had to undergo the root canal healing procedures.
The doctor has virtually formed a new tooth that is based on a titanium rod that is now located in one of my root canals.

But there is one thing that disturbs me. Two moths have passed but I still experience occasional pains in my gum, in its upper part when I, for example, kiss someone, or do anything else that envolves movements of face muscles.

What may be the reason?

My dentist sells them, but when asked flat out of they were better then regular toothbrushes he wouldn't answer the question. What do you people think? Are they worth the price?

I've had a bad experience with an extraction with another dentist a long time ago.

Now, I went to this quack yesterday, and he ended up hurting me.

The tooth is abcessed, I'm pregnant, and I'm worried that my dentist isn't going to be able to get it numb completely. Obviously, i don't want to get the tooth pulled if it's going to hurt.

It's a bicuspid #12.

I have to be there in an hour and a half, and I feel like I'm walking to a guillotine. Help!
