I've read up on them on the web. The web sites give very positive information. I'm just curious if anyone knows of any negative factors. Are there any side effects to the health of the teeth?

Does anyone have a lab that just get everything right all the time? I'm looking for a lab who can receive a quadrant impression for a single crown and just make it right the first time, every time. Any suggestions? I'd be happy mailing my stuff off to California if that's what it takes.

Is it safe to pull your own tooth? I have my adult teeth now, and one of them are messing with me really bad. It totally hurts. I do not care about saving the tooth or anything like that. I jus want it out. If it is safe to pull it tell me how I should go about it. Thanx

I have severe pitting, gum recession and enamel damage on my teeth due to heavy & hard brushing techniquine from when I was alot younger. My dentist has now informed me the time has come to pull all my teeth & get dentures. I'd love implants but way too expensive! He won't speak of Veneers. Anything "special" I should request? I am gonna get a cheap set made at a local clinic then a better set from my dentist. Can they make my final set as "white & pretty" as I want them? I am SEVERELY terrified of dentists & I dread this more than anything in the world. Any suggestions? Please help, I am desperate & welcome any advice.

I am a single mom in-between jobs, and i have NO money and no health insurance for myself. (My son is on TennCare). I need a tooth pulled BADLY. It is causing me horrible pain and I think it is getting infected. I obviously can't afford a regular dentist. I need advice.

Tooth loss question: 1 friend says that the tooth that came out will require me to have the rest pulled out and then dentures, another says not true, that just because one decayed, the rest can probably be saved. Anyone have experience with this here, I am extremely fearful of dentist, this tooth came out a year ago, the one next to it, the top broke off today, now I'm getting freaked out, I have no dental insurance and am worried about not only finding a good dentist but one who will take pymts.

I am getting my bottom back tooth #31 extracted on tuesday after a root canal and a surgery to snip the root did not work. Has this happened to you and was it ok or did you have complications after it was pulled?

In May I got stomatits which resulted in little white spots all over my mouth, swollen gums, and a fever for a week. Since then I occasionally get swollen gums and a spot or two ever now and again. Since stomatitis is herpetic, I am assuming this is normal? 5 days ago I had a crown put in and 3 wisdom teeth removed and over the past coupe of days my gum has flared up around the new crown. I've been swishing with salt water and oral anesthetic, so I am wondering if this swelling/sore-like area of my gum is most likely the result of an ill-fitted crown or the above mentioned stomatitis. Also, is there anything that can prevent future stomatitis outbreaks? If you are not knowledgable about dentistry or this condition, you need not respond. I am only asking because I don't have the money to visit my dentist again this month, so please don't bother telling me to go to the dentist. If that were feasible for me, I would obviously not have asked this question. Thanks.

what can I do as an activity with him. He usually just sits all day watching television. It's pretty sad because he seems so bored.
Any games or whatever you could recommend would be appreciated.
