It all depends on how deep the filling was. Normally, you should give it a couple of days before the nerve can calm down due to the drilling from the dentist taking the cavity out. Give it a week. If its not better, then go back to your doctor. The filling may be to high. Your doctor may need to shave the filling down and adjust your bite. Shaving the filling down won't hurt and you won't need to be numb.

If you had a "white" filling (sorry not sure of the term) it may be a bit more sensitive for a few days to a week after the filling. I recently had a very deep cavity filled and was told to expect a bit of sensitivity. If it has been much longer then that and you are still sensitive I'd go back and get it checked out or at least call the dentist and ask.

Could be sensitivity or something to do with the nerve. Give the dentist a call...

Only your dentist can give you a reliable answer.
Ask him even if you hate it, having no teeth is no fun.
