Does the vibration from the bursh cause any damage to fillings?

After RCT I had a perm filling instead of cap. Does the electric toothbrush cause any harm to this filling?

Your dentist, of course, is your best source of info on this...but when I had several fillings and root canals done, my dentist insisted I use an electric tooth brush...believes it does a much better job of cleaning. And ,I have had much better dental health than ever before since using the electric brush.

Not only is it "OK"...it's probably better. The electric tooth brushes are more efficient than regular and actually soemtimes gentler because while they "do the work" you're not sitting there doing the "scrub" technique, which can harm teeth.

i suspect at least acouple of the problem teeth, however, came from not flossing; junk gets stuck b/t the contacts so that's the biggest improvement you can make

i'm partial to Sonicare brushes.
