a little.

more like uncomfortable. they stick tiny rubber thing looks like rubberband between back two teeth, if i remember right they kinda wedge it in there like flossing.

getting your braces tightened hurts more.

chewing bubble gum for a day in advance will help jaw muscle to strengthen so it won't hurt so bad when your teeth start to move

Yes they'll hurt for a while. Tylenol and a soft diet for a day or two will help. It's really not that bad.

I had braces two times, and when I had them it was a little irritating. I wanted to pull them out because they felt like food in my teeth. You will get used to them, and by that time it's time for them to come out.

just a little my sons r 7 and 8 and they both had them w/ no trouble
