Yes! I had this same question when I was pregnant and I asked my doctor and she said you can bleach your teeth and you can even dye your hair and get your nails done. I was happy to hear that.

it is not recommended. Not because it is dangerous, but because no one did any research on it. i know for a fact that the wife of the president of Ultradent (one of the companies that makes take-home whitening) was bleaching while she was pregnant with all 7 kids.
