I am 22 y/o and for the most part, I have a normal period that lasts 5-7 days, and occurs about every 3 weeks. My period started on Nov. 23 (which was around the normal time), but instead of stopping after 5-6 days, it hasn't slowed down much at all. I'm now on day 17 (Dec. 10).
Earlier today it seemed to slow down enough so that I didn't have to worry about wearing any sanitary pads or anything, but just now (after laying down for bed and trying to sleep for an hour), I realized that the flow picked up again. Before today, it hadn't slowed at all (this was the first time).
It hasn't been super heavy the whole time, but just a regular constant flow I guess. I haven't done anything different from what I've always done, I'm not on the pill, and I also am NOT feeling any of the other side effects that I normally get when menstrating (cramps, bloating, etc.)....
I have an appointment to see the doctor in a little over a week, but does anyone have any idea what's wrong??? Thanks
