i'm planning on getting the birth control vaccination, and it's every 3 months, i just don't like taking pills. Anyone out there that is on this vaccination? Does it work? i mean anything bad happen sense you got it?

I'm sitting here this morning and I'm just feeling profoundly sad. I've got a lot of health issues facing me right now. Serious ones. I've been diagnosed with a precancerous condition of the uterus and the Dr wants to do a Hysterectomy. I've also been diagnosed with C.O. P. D. and I've had trouble breathing all year long: I cannot walk across the room w/o getting out of breath. I don't have a wheelchair or oxygen tank.... It makes going places and doing things really, really hard. I frequently find myself in a great deal of pain or unable to breath. Oh yeah, over the past year I gained another 75 lbs. My thyroid meds weren't working right..... And they recently found a brain tumor. I'm taking a meds for it now. It seems to be working so far. But I still might have to have surgery to get it out. Don't know if it's cancer or not.... I've also got a cyst (pilinidal) that was recently worked on. THe surgery didn't really work and I had a flare up over the past few days.

When Im sober Im normally a very nice, laid back guy, but when I get too much liquor in my system I lose my head.
Yes I know everyone loses thier head when they get too much liquor, but Im a little different.
I smile, laugh and talk to myself. I constantly think about hurting someone or myself. I can be laughing my *** off one minute, then crying the next. Id have to compare it to Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Am I really looney or is the booze just making me think I am?

Ok...so I am engaged to the girl I liked when I was 15. I am now 25,so it is completely mind-melting to me that we are even talking or for that matter 4 years into a relationship and now engaged....we have a house and all the necessities. She has not been working for almost 3 years now. I have been supporting us to the best of my ability now since we have lived together. I am growing continually worried about our future and I seem to grow more insecure as time goes on. Being in this situation makes me feel this way. I have always been the person who thinks that having something to look forward to can be a key to happiness......and right now the only thing I have to look forward to is carrying the burden of bills and expenses alone while my fiance sits at home having fun online.....couple that with a fear of driving and not being social either and it makes for a pretty depressing situation......what can I do to bring about change and disolve my insecurities about her and our future????

About 6 weeks ago, I fell over at my school disco and 2 weeks later I visited my GP, who said I had soft tissue damage below my left knee and this would get better in time. Six weeks on from the fall, on the left side of my bone, my leg is numb but it only covers a small part of my leg. For the past week, there has been a small hard lump there which has now gone. Any ideas what it is, as I am starting to become worried as to why it's still here. I'm 13 by the way, if it makes any difference.

I recently took Diazepam for a flight but it didnt work! I was still really scared altho not as scared as i should have been.I still felt like panicking.I took one an hour before my flight and when i didnt feel any effect i took another half an hour before take off.Half an hour into the flight i had to take another one as it just wasnt working! I feel at 5mg they should have. I had to do that the same way back too. The only time i felt an effect was 2 hours AFTER my last flight,and about 3 hours AFTER i had taken my last tablet when i felt really drunk. Im going on a longer flight in June and im concerned.

I'm short sighted. I have to wear glasses all the time. I told my friends this....they all yelled 'NERD!!'.
Does this embarrassing and stupid ritual happen to everybody who gets glasses?

Searching for a non-operative solution for cataracts.
I am 56 F. 8 years ago I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes and now my doctor urges me to operate but all in me cries "DO NOT"!
I believe my kind of cataracts is a soft one and might be dealed with in a non intrusive way. The vision is only slightly clouded with more of it in one eye´s inner corner. The dimension of this vision limiting part changes!
Overall I eat quite healthy (no junk food, no white flour or sugar etc.) but do not exercise and as a student and writer I sit at PC too much.
Acupuncture being too panfull for me I am on ayurvedic Triphala course today.

They put me on Paroxetine and Quetiapine and I contracted hypothyroidism. Can I sue them for medical negligence ? A pharmacist told me Quetiapine induces low thyroxine levels so that made me suspicious of foul play. I also read that Paroxetine can rarely induce hypothyroidism too. I cannot prove it but seems clear to me what induced hypothyroidism as I was perfectly healthy before I took any of these drugs. Apparently according to research on the internet lithium in these drugs causes the thyroid to go hypo. Do I have a case of medical negligence ? If so what should I do ?

I have always occasionaly gottena sharp pain in my side on my left whenever i sit down. It does not happen all the time, and i was just sitting here thinking what if it is my appendix and it needs to come or something. I hear about all these cases where people get them taken out after they start hurting, and I was just wanting a secong opinion, because i don't want to worry about it if I don't need to.Any thoughts??.....

From Monday to Sunday. I have been going thru it. Monday found out i was pregnant. Tuesday went to the doc and they said they couldnt find a heart beat. Wednesday had to be rushed to the hospital cause i was bleeding and i had a urinary tract infection.. later on found out I gave my mate chlymedia (had no idea how this happen). Thursday doctor gives me all these shots in the booty and tell me that the reason im bleeding is because im having a miscarraige. Friday stabbing cramps. Saturday going on to Sunday.. found out my ex boyfriend who i had been having sex with was sexing my bestfriend roomate.. "thats y i was bringing girls over **** house and effing then and later coming to pick u up adn bring u back to eff u"-these were the words his text said. Now im sitting hear cluless wondering how am I suppose to feel!?!
