Difficult to say without actually examining you. You need to make an appointment with your GP.
It could be to do with your blood pressure, but contrary to popular opinion this is generally caused by low rather than high blood pressure which generally causes very little in the way of symptoms. If you're on treatment for high BP this may be connected, particularly if you get dizzy when you stand up.
It would be helpful for your GP if you can get as much info from a witness as possible eg do you go pale and sweaty first then very flushed? Have they ever felt your pulse when you feel dizzy and if so what did it feel like? Do you ever pass out with this or get chest/ear pain? Think carefully about what exactly you feel when you are "dizzy", is it light headedness, vision blurring or do you feel the room is spinning.
I'm a little wary of chiropractic treatment, particularly if they claim they can manipulate your neck to control blood pressure, and of course it would cost you! By the way C3 is not at the base of the skull, C1 is.

Certain medications can cause dizziness too. I just started taking a new medication where the major warning is dizziness. The dark red face could be your blood pressure. Does this happen when you're active doing chores or just when sitting. Make a notation of the events surrounding your facial redness and let your doctor know if you're able to detect tell tale signs of when this happens the most. Several things could cause this to happen and may not be be of concern.

First consider any medication, new or old that your taking. This side effect could be for one of them.
Consider High blood pressure, Google for symptoms.
Inner ear can cause dizziness. But dizziness is a side effect of HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. That sounds most likely.
A few things to help might be walk about a mile daily, exercise is necessary to stay healthy. Drink about 6 bottles of water daily to flush out toxins and salt, ease back on salt. If you are overweight, cut back. Be active, our body needs it.
Get a Chiropractic adjustment. They are able to help high blood pressure by adjusting the C-3 vertebrae at the base of the scull.
These are all simple things to do to improve your situation.
But see a Doctor to get checked out. I do believe high blood pressure can cause stroke, so get started getting healthy.

I went to the doctor for this and got my ears checked because I thought it was an inner ear infection. Turns out it was anxiety. I got a small prescription of lorazepam and it worked like a charm. I would still suggest getting a blood test done as well for a vitamin B12 deficiency or an iron deficiency.

Heart failure, you're eating too much and sitting on it....what do you want us to say? You have a condition that requires proper medical intervention. Go and see your GP.

You need to see your GP, but get them to check also for Menieres disease. It is not dangerous, but it can be progressive and seriously affect your hearing.
