About 6 weeks ago, I fell over at my school disco and 2 weeks later I visited my GP, who said I had soft tissue damage below my left knee and this would get better in time. Six weeks on from the fall, on the left side of my bone, my leg is numb but it only covers a small part of my leg. For the past week, there has been a small hard lump there which has now gone. Any ideas what it is, as I am starting to become worried as to why it's still here. I'm 13 by the way, if it makes any difference.
Thanks in advance...

Our bodies take time to heal. Icing it would be helpful.

Taking Tylenol daily (per bottle instructions) will help reduce the swelling and inflammation.

Be patient. Injuries take time to heal, if they ever fully do.

The numbness, means you damaged a nerve to the numb area.

Stop worrying, it will not make it heal any faster. Just follow these simple instructions.

Soft tissue damage takes forever because you cant do anything for it except just let it heal naturally and treat the pain with medicine. If the knot is causing numbness it may need to be further looked at. Let the doctor know at the next appointment.
