wait until he's in a calm and good mood. and tell him about your belly and say it's common nowadays and there's really no harm in it. and tell him at least its not a tattoo (unless you also have a tattoo then never mind on that) good luck to you! =)

First off, you're not a ho bag as someone nastily commented. A piercing is basically fashion sense, a hole in your body for looks, but some parents aren't okay with it. Particularly conservative parents. I pierced my belly button when I was 17, I'm now 20 and still haven't told my dad, so, considering it doesn't really affect anybody but you, I'd say What Daddy don't know won't hurt him.

Just sit him down and tell him you have something to tell him and tell him that you got your belly button pierced that is in style right now and you want to be honest with him thats why your letting him know instead of hiding it from him.

I had my belly button pierced for a couple years before my dad knew. I just didn't say anything, I waited till he asked or saw it...he ended up asking, only after he noticed my tongue ring...7 months after I got it...lol

Wow all your pals did it so which you "have" to do it too -.- in case you like a parental permission to get it achieved i think of you in basic terms desire your mom's if she's your parent yet rules are distinctive everywhere so which you may to check on that. in case you sense you may tell your dad, attempt to get your mom to help you on your decision (i don't get how a mom could enable this type of undertaking) and consult with him whilst he's in a sturdy temper. make effective they use New and cleand needles or despite the fact that they use. in case you like my opinion... do no longer do it.... finally: i'm 14 years old? nicely i do no longer think of this is possible to all people to answer that except they're psychics or some thing.

Do you really have to? Why does he need to see your belly button? Take good care of it from now on, though. It takes longer to heal than other piercings. My daughter had to have hers removed because she didn't take proper care of it, and she looks really funny now without a navel. She's kind of sensitive about it.

Don't . What business is it of his. Do you show him your body? Does he insist on seeing your body? Girlfriend it's your body, yes he was a part of making it, but he has to respect your indivisuality. The less spoken the less known. Can't you keep a secret? It not like you got a ring in nose.

Just wait till it heals and allow him to see it naturally when you wear a short shirt with low rise pants. See what he says if he sees it. If you take the jewel out, it would'nt show anyways.

Shouldn't you have thought of that before you did it if you knew he would disapprove?
I knew my dad wouldn't like my nose piercing but I'm 43, so I was prepared for that.
