Sushi consists mostly of rice (complex sugars) and fish or other aquatic species all of which are high in protein and amino acids. The filling ingredient is mostly the rice and as a diabetic rice cna be bad if you eat too much of it but I can't see why it would be more dangerous then eating a moderate portion of rice on its own. Sushi is dangerous for anyone if it is not prepared properly though and if you plan to learn to make it, make sure you take the proper preparation into account along with precaution with raw uncooked meats.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.
Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

With the newer types of insulin these days, diabetic diets aren't necessarily as restrictive as they used to be. Read here https://tr.im/diabetesrelief
As with any medicine or diet change, you should discuss it with your doctor. Fruits, both fresh and dried, have a natural sugar in them that will raise blood sugar levels, so be careful about eating too much. Not sure about the nuts. Moderation is always the key. I've been diabetic for 18 years and just recently changed insulin types. I love it because it gives me more freedom in when and what I eat.

There is a lot of stuff on the internet that is basically fat-shaming diabetics for causing their own diabetes with their bad diet and lack of exercise and general lack of moral fibre. A lot of this stuff is written by non-doctors, often with a supplement or diet or training plan to sell that they claim will completely cure diabetes if only people stick to it.
I read this interesting book https://tr.im/lVZWL that gave me a lot of useful tips about my disease and also a different perspective on the best therapeutical approach. I think you should read it too.
I hope it helps

I can't see why you can't have sushi if you like it - I'm diabetic and have no fancy to the fish type but did see a recipe on TV for veggie sushi which sounded nice.
My only concern would be if you are on medication, sushi alone might not be enough to stop you going 'hypo'
