I find it very hard to believe that it is possible to burn more calories than you take in. Even if you are only taking in 1200-1500. How many calories are burned doing normal things it takes to keep our bodies functioning like breathing, eating etc. Also just normal walking and things we do not do for exercise--walking to class/work, housework, etc.

We all know coffee stains your teeth, but if you dilute coffee with creamer/milk, does it reduce the staining effect? If so, how much? My wedding is Saturday and I've been bleaching my teeth, but I can;t live without coffee! Any suggestions??

If you took a drug test on Thursday at 1:30pm, when would they have the results to let you know if u passed? It was a urine test, and I was told 48 hours, that's why I asked. The test was taken at Lab Corp for a job.

I get diarrhea a lot. I don't know why. I'm a college kid, just turned 20 a few days ago. it seems there is no one week that goes by that i don't have diarrhea at least 3 times. its been this way for a while. i poop alot. everyone i live with all make sure to note that i poop alot more than the common person. i don't know why. it's sometimes frustrating to go on long trips back home from college and stuff because i'll have to stop a few times just to poop. i keep taking immodium, sometimes ahead of the time, and that works for about a day. alot of the times once the immodium wears off, im in for a full day of the runs. (by a full day i mean sitting on the can about 6-8 times). so i dunno. immodium works but not that greatly. i was wondering what else to do? should i see if a doc will prescribe a med for it? i eat healthy and i exercise more than a couch potato... but i'm lost.

i read in a book that olive oil soothens the eye so but i misread it and put like have a spoon of olive oil in my eyes. Then I just flushed it out with water. Did the oil go into the back of my eyes? will it affect the inside of my eye, right eye.

I've been dealing with this burning throbing pain for about a year now. I have had mri's,bone tests,one epidural injection plus some more tests done. My Local pain clicnic told me all the tests look fine so there for there is no pain.
I told the Doctor to tell the pain that!
Every morning begins like the one befor,no pain but after i am awake for an hour or so the pain begins all over again. My pain begins in my lower back then radiates down both budocks then down both of my legs and it's a burning tingling pain+my small finger on my left hand is numb all the time.
I either sit or lay around all day takeing about 1/2 dozen or so percription pills along with a Lididerm patch but the onley relief i get is from a Vikeaden pain pill.
Strange i can wax a car and do outher things that dont bother me as long as i am in a standing position i dont feel the pain.
When i sit down the pain is there with a vengence
I'm just wandering if anyone else has had this problem .

I had a mammogram in April of this year, a follow up from one done a year ago for a painful mass on the bottom of one breast. Both mammograms came back normal.
Recently, I noticed that the breast I was having trouble with seems to indent or go concave (for lack of a better description) when I raise my arms above my head. I don't feel anything different when I do my BSE, but I'm just paranoid that they missed something. What could this be? I have a 9 month old baby, but I only breastfed for a couple weeks because my milk wasn't sufficient for him. Could that have something to do with it?
I know I should go back to the doctor, but I hate going back for another mammogram when I just had one (my insurance is already prickish about a lot of things like physicals, etc.).

It started when I was 11 years old, and now i'm 26 and it still happens. Sometimes weeks go by where I dont' have an eppisode, but then sometimes I will get them 2 and 3 times in a day. I go to take in a breath, and I will get a random Sharp pain in my Lungs, and for the time that it's there i can only breath tiny breaths. It's scarey, and when I saw the Dr. About it when I was 15, he told me "it's growing pains". I think it's more than that, but nobody can seem to tell me what's causing it. Any ideas?

I have been between jobs for the past eight months.this means that I have no health or dental insurance. I have tried applying for medicaid & stuff but I dont qaulify since some of the jobs I get pay between $10-$12 an hour.Im in such a bad place, I have been forced to file exempt for my taxes just to make ends meet. well, I have had a bad tooth for the past four months and now it has just got worse.pain killers dont work anymore and it really needs to be taken out.I cant find a volunteer clinic that will take me as a patient beacuse they say I make mopre that $8 an hour so I will need to pay an extraction fee in the $400.00 range. i just cant afford this so I am thinking fo just taking it out myself. does anyone have an idea how I can do this or maybe have an idea of a dental service that will understand my situation. I cant afford regualr fees, right now , my car note , inusrance & registration have not been paid so things are really bad. Help me out with this tooth.Live in Atlanta

I was expecting my menses on 31st of last month. I postponed it by taking hormonal pills for 4 days from 24th -27th. On 28th I had intercourse, but I used barrier tablets (Contraceptives) during the act.. I haven’t got my menses till date. Could I be pregnant/ what are the possibilities? I am 14, and recently got all four wisdom teeth out, as well as two bicuspids on the top row. I was told that ice cream was fine, but drinking carbonated drinks could cause dry sockets.

I had those teeth extracted on Thursday Oct. 4, and it is now Monday Oct. 8. Is it safe to drink root beer floats yet? Or should I hold off for another few days?
