really thin (5'10 120) and avoided eating at all costs. I lost my period for 2 years. I never ever told them I was anorexic, but I feel like they suspected. I am going to see them in a week and am so nervous of what they will think of me. I am not fat now, just normal I guess( 5'10 150.) But I still feel huge, because I will always have the anorexic mind that I have to fight each and every day.

I am so anxious.. I don't want them to think I like ate and became fat.

Should I tell them about my past and that now I am healthier because I am actually feeding my body? Or just forget it and not care. help :/

I know if you take antibiotics or St. John's Wart, it lowers the effect of birth control. What else can do this? Thanks!

My 20 year old son has a heart rate of 48. He is tall and lean. Doesn't have chest pain or anything. He does have asthma. He had an ekg done for preop for surgery in 3 days. The tech sent him in to urgent care saying there was a problem with the ekg turned out to be the low heart rate of 48.

I've got this sensation in the back of my nasal passages that's bugging me, but is normal with the change of the season when the air gets cool and dry. Seems like it will get worse before it gets any better. Other than a vaporizer and more fluids, what nasal spray is best. Saline seems to help, but is there something better? Thanks!

I would like to cut back on carbs and eat more protein and produce. My problem is that I'm allergic to nearly all raw veggies, all melon, bananas, kiwi, walnuts, and brazil nuts.
I eat small meals 6 times a day, only a tiny snack in the evening, but I'm sorta getting tired of apples and grapes and peanut butter!
Any advice?

How important is "base curve" in a contact lense. I am trying to buy some contact lenses on online and it is only offering a base curve of 8.3.
When I usually order contact lenses, I buy it with a base curve of 8.7.
If I decide to buy the lenses with the base curve of 8.3-does it make much of a difference?

Thanks...

I do cardio for at least 30 minutes everyday, I strength train 3 times a week, I eat healthy meals and I also eat a moderate amount of ice cream and candy. I eat about 3000 calories a day, sometimes more and I have not gained any inches and my clothes fit the same. Does this mean that my metabolism is fast? I am 5'2, 31, female, size 2-4, my weight fluctuates from 123 to 127 depending on time of day.

We are three brothers and one sister. One of my brothers (3rd among 4 sibs) is schizophrenic. I am married with one 5 years old daughter and I got married outside my family. One of my paternal uncle and 3 of my cousins from my three different paternal uncles also got schizophrenia but one of the cousin is doing fine now after treatment. But my brother has no chance of healing though he is getting treatment. My parents were not related in anyway before marriage.

I'm sure that I have depersonalization disorder. I use to have panic attacks, where I couldn't breath, I got dizzy a lot, my chest tightened, etc. Now it's pretty much this hell-hole of a dream-like state. The bigger problem is that I know I need a therapist, but I can't ask for one. My mom knows I deal with this (I'm sixteen, btw.) When I first told her about it, she suggested a therapist, but I freaked out and said no. But now I think I really need one. I'm desperate. I need this to go away. How do I ask for a therapist though, when she has so much going on in her own life? I keep chickening out. What should I do? I keep crying and it keeps getting worse and worse, to where I don't remember what reality is. Please, please help.

My teenage daughter has just been diagnosed with it. I don't want to put her on hormone replacement therapy to bring on her periods (which occur about twice per year). We have extensive breast cancer in the family, and hormone therapy is frightening. Does anyone know of any natural remedies that are safe? Thank you.
